Sessions & Fees

First Session

You are welcome to book an initial session where we can discuss what brought you to therapy, what your hopes are for an outcome and where you can see if you feel comfortable with me. There is no obligation to continue with further sessions. This session will also give me an opportunity to see if I am best placed to help you.


In our first session we will start the process of working together, getting some familiarity and understanding of what our relationship will be like, and beginning to develop the trust needed for you to feel safe with me.


You will decide how many sessions you would like to take. You might for example prefer to do short term work of 6-12 sessions or leave it open-ended.


We can meet in-person or via Zoom and each session lasts for 50 minutes.



What can I expect from a Counselling Session?

You might want to explore a specific issue or may feel that something is not quite right in your life but are not sure what you are looking for. Counselling is a collaborative process with the aim to empower and enable you to recognise and address aspects in your life which you may find problematic or confusing.


I am committed to being open and transparent with you and together, we will explore how you experience yourself and life with the aim of bringing clarity to those aspects with which you are struggling, enabling you to decide how to manage your life and meet life's challenges with greater awareness of your resources and strengths.

Initial 50 Minute Session: £55,-


Ongoing 50 Minute Sessions: £65 


Concessions are available


Payment should be made in advance or on the day of our appointment, via direct bank transfer or cash.
